We’re excited to announce that Surrey County Council has chosen our innovative SaaS solution to revolutionise its streetworks management. This 12-month partnership, valued at £1 million, highlights the trust and confidence in our cutting-edge 1Streetworks application.
Why 1Streetworks?
Our cloud-based solution is the first of its kind, fully automating the creation of traffic management plans, diversion routes, and asset inventories. It allows seamless sharing of these plans with other users on the platform, enabling effective communication and coordination.
Benefits for Surrey County Council:
- Collaboration and Coordination: The platform will serve as a hub for the management and coordination of streetworks on surrey’s busy roads, reducing disruption to the public and local economy while enhancing efficiency, speed, and safety of delivery.
- Communication: Using 1Streetworks enables a step change in the communication of planned and reactive works, allowing, for the first time, the visualisation of detailed roadworks plans, in real time, across all stakeholders in the Surrey CC area. Reducing the impact of works and promoting sharing of road space between organisations.
- Creating a Better Future: By using our platform, Surrey County Council sets a new standard for the management of street works on the UK’s roads bringing significant benefits to everyone that works on them and everyone that travels on them.
Our CEO, Claire Milverton, shares her excitement:
“We are delighted to have secured this significant contract with Surrey County Council to support their ongoing and innovative digital transformation plans. This solution will enable Surrey County Council to maximise collaboration among its contractors, reducing traffic congestion in their area, which in turn improves air pollution, benefits the public and supports the local economy, whilst critically maintaining safety, accuracy and regulatory compliance.”
1Streetworks is currently under trial with other County Councils and utility companies as 1Spatial works closely with customers to revolutionise the street works planning process.
